The Charismatic/Pentecostal stemmed from the Holiness Movement by adding 1) gibberish tongues 2) "faith" healing 3) wild music services and 4) in many cases women ordination.
Since they came out of the Holiness Movement they are Arminian but in eschatology divided largely between Dispensationalism, Amillennial and Post-Millennial.
The movement hearkens back to the Overland Park Outpouring and Azusa Street (where seances were performed according to secular newspapers of the time).
*The Charismatic/Pentecostal sub-group of the NAR (National Apostolic Reformation) Movement is followed by many non-denominational independent congregations because most established denominations view them as too extreme. These believe in Post-Millennial Dominionism. The program of Sid Roth "It's Supernatural" is targeted towards them.
They take up where William Branham left off. He was a Charismatic preacher peaking in popularity post WW2 and was an open racist. Many of his followers formed independent congregations to follow him. The NAR adopt many of his teachings but leave out the racism.
