New Thought is really a sort of Christian-New Age Religion.
*Also Swdenborgian are in this bunch. They are followers of Emanuel Swedenborg who was a brilliant Swedish Scientist of the 1700's who claimed to have had many dreams and came up with his own brand of purgatory. Claimed to have spoken with both Christ and Lucifer. His book Secrets of Heaven is considered a Holy Text. He claimed to have been visited by spirits from the solar system planets and the moon. He also dies on the day he predicted he would die.
Among his famous followers were Johnny Appleseed of near Fort Wayne, Indiana fame and Helen Keller.
His writings are considered a Third Testament of which by only the Old and New Testament can be understood.
The 2nd coming will not be literal but rather spiritual.
*National Spiritualist Association of Churches believes that Spiritualism is one of the Laws of Nature as any other Laws of Nature set up by God. Some, but not all, believe in Reincarnation. Founded by Cora Scott in the 1800's.
*Unity Church believes you are reincarnated until you get life right. The world ends when there is no one left to go through Reincarnation.
