Mormons (known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints) was founded by Joseph Smith. They are Universalists in that they believe everyone will be saved except ex-Mormons and Lucifers angelic host.

They have Baptism for the Dead.

Joseph Smith taught he was here to fix the Bible with the Book of Mormon, Doctrine of Covenants and the Peral of Great Price.

Although they are technically Trinitarian, they don't believe in the Biblical Triune Godhead. Rather they believe the Father was a man who became a god, Christ is his firstborn son and the Holy Spirit is another one created to help while where it says Holy Ghost in the KJV is God's physical presence in the world.

They believe that married Mormons who go through a secret ceremony will become gods and repopulate another planet and start all over again (in this life you are born from your parents planet down here in human form to test you). All other Mormons get to be the angels on the next round of planets and all the people judged good get to go back to their parents planet and the wicked become good and live for eternity on this planet remade paradise.

They are KJV only.

They also taught the blacks were the descendants of Lucifer until the 1970's when the priesthood was opened to blacks.

When Joseph Smith was killed the majority followed Brigham Young west to Utah and became the main branch. A small group headed east to Missouri and became the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, recently  changing it's name to Community of Christ. They are the Liberal branch and follow writings added by Smith's direct descendants.
