The Hussites date back to the Bohemian Reformation of Huss and Jerome before the Reformation of Luther. They tend to be Amillennial and believe in a Lutheran type of Free Will (which Luther was inspired by). They are closest in belief to Lutherans.
Many migrated west from Czechoslovakia into Germany and east into Russia. Many came to America in the 1700's from Germany and the late 1800's from Russia. In the early 1900's from Czechoslovakia.
Their motto is "In essentials, unity; in nonessentials, liberty; and in all things, love". They view Christ's life as a Blueprint for the Christian. Their emblem is the Lamb of God. They are Pacifists.
They have a heavy emphasis on celebrating Christmas.
