1 John 2:3,4/John 17:17
The Wesleyan movement tend to be Amillennial, Arminian Free Will -- hence the heavy focus on Sanctification and have their own brand of Episcopal polity (Connexionalism). That good works are the fruit of faith and regeneration. Their motto is "Deeds not Creeds".
*Their biggest denomination was the United Methodist (which just split over the LGBT issue with the Global Methodist). The United Methodist was the Methodist Episcopal Church renamed when it merged in the 1960's with the liberal United Brethren New Lights.
*The Wesleyan Methodist Church allowed some congregations of the liberal Pilgrim Holiness to merge with them in the 1960's and became just the Wesleyan Church.
